Jean works as the strength coach for Seattle University’s Men’s Crew Team

Jean brings energy, experience, and passion to every session. With nearly four years as an exercise specialist in a physical therapy clinic, he’s helped clients move better, get stronger, and overcome injuries. He’s also coached Seattle University’s club rowing team and youth ultimate frisbee with Bellingham Youth Ultimate, blending athletic performance with functional, enjoyable training.
With a degree in Psychology and Sport Psychology, Jean understands that true fitness starts with both body and mind. His goal is to help people of all backgrounds build strength, confidence, and a lasting love for movement.
Outside of coaching, Jean stays active through his own strength and conditioning—earning 3rd place in a powerlifting competition—and plays ultimate frisbee at the recreational and club level. When he’s not training, you’ll find him exploring new recipes or discovering the best local food spots.
