Biography

With a foundation in sport specific strength and conditioning, I have a love for developing functional strength and athletic movement patterns, no matter what the goal! As a graduate of the University of Washington (who still works in research), I am a strong believer in a science based approach to training. Whether your goal is to increase your mobility and strength for daily life movements, or to become a stronger and faster athlete, I am excited to help you move towards it!

I have been involved in sport specific athletic training for over 5 years. As an ex-Division 1 athlete with personal experience with volleyball, rowing, and rugby, and a strength and conditioning coach of over 10 sports, I have learned to coach and execute proper movement patterns for functional performance goals.

In addition to athletic training, I am dedicated to making the gym a more approachable space for women. I recognize the societal and cultural barriers that have led the gym to sometimes be an intimidating or uncomfortable space for women, and I am passionate about creating an atmosphere for women to thrive. To me, this means helping you to build a strong foundation of knowledge and movement patterns to ensure safety and confidence in your life and in athletic spaces.
