Kristen has always had a passion for movement and exploring new ways to challenge her body. In high school, she competed in swimming, diving, and gymnastics—and even began her coaching journey as a gymnastics instructor. Her curiosity for movement also expanded into circus arts and parkour.
While earning her degree, Kristen continued to pursue physically demanding hobbies like rugby, rock climbing, and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) surfing. After college, she worked as a nuclear engineer for the Navy, spending long hours at a desk. Living a more sedentary life resulted in a previous rugby injury resurfacing. A damaged nerve in her neck left her with partial loss of feeling and function on one side of her body. Told she might never run without pain again, Kristen refused to settle. She regained her strength, rebuilt her movement foundation, and eventually completed a half-marathon obstacle race. She’s now training for a 30-mile obstacle course—a huge milestone in her ongoing fitness journey.
Kristen earned her personal training certification to deepen her own knowledge and help friends and family on their fitness paths. She has since added certifications in corrective exercise, nutrition coaching, and physique coaching. Inspired by the transformative power of prioritizing health, she now dedicates her career to helping others experience those same benefits.
As a trainer, Kristen is passionate about equipping her clients with the tools, education, and support they need to succeed. Whether your goal is to build strength, improve aesthetics, or simply move with more confidence and ease, Kristen is committed to helping you develop sustainable habits and reach your full potential.
