Reservations are required to secure a spot for your children. You can make them as early as 8am the day before. Reservations for busy times fill up quickly. We recommend going on the waitlist when you are unable to secure your desired time.
Babies can stay up to 1 1/2 hours while older children can stay for up to 3 hours. We define a baby as any child under 18 months and/or can not walk up stair independently. Because the rations are different for babies (1:1) than older children (1:7), we have limited spots available for babies throughout the day.
If you can’t make your appointment time, you are required to call at least two hours in advance to cancel. Otherwise, you will be charged. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged for the duration of the appointment.
Kids Korner charges $3 per hour/child. Non-members pay at the Club front desk and return the receipt to Kids Korner before leaving. All others have charges added to their reoccurring membership payments. Members with parent or family memberships receive 10 free hours every month. Complimentary hours cannot be used to pay for no-shows or late cancellations. Free monthly allotted childcare may not be carried over or saved for future months.
Drop Off & Sign-In
Parents must sign in with their full name, their child(ren)’s name(s), cell phone number, and expected exercise locations so that we can locate then in case their child needs assistance. Every parent’s picture must be in the computer for identification purposes. Please label all bags, bottles, coats, shoes, and other belongings brought into Kids Korner. Parents must remain in the club while their children are in Kids Korner.
What to Bring
Children in diapers must be in a freshly changed disposable diaper when dropped off and children who are potty training must wear pull-ups. Please bring a snack. Kids Korner snack time is a social as well as nutritional event. Recommended snacks include graham crackers, goldfish crackers, cut-up fruit, dry cereal, and juice. We have some snacks available for a cash-only purchase, however Kids Korner is not equipped with enough staff to prepare or serve full meals. Children are welcome to bring toys from home; however, we cannot be held responsible for keeping track of these items.
Reservations will be held for 15 minutes. If you are running late for your reservation, please call within that time. Otherwise, your reservation could be given to another member. Also, please remember to pick up children promptly at the end of your appointed time. These guidelines were established in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your child and our caregivers.
If a child cries for more than 15 minutes, the parent will be called and asked to calm their child. If they are not successful, the child will have to be removed from the program.
If your child is ill, we ask that you keep them home for 24 hours before returning to Kids Korner. If a child displays signs of sickness and/or we have had to wipe their nose more than 3x in one hour, the parent will be contacted to remove their child until they are feeling better.
Suspension/Removal from Program
If a child displays disruptive and/or dangerous behavior they will be given a warning and the behavior will be documented. If the behavior continues, the child can risk suspension from the program for up to a month. They can return under probation and if the behavior continues, longer suspensions might be considered.
