We are very excited to inform you that the
new adult lap pool, hot tub, and locker
rooms, including the new steam rooms and
saunas have been completed and are now
available for your enjoyment! Also, we are
excited to inform you that we have now begun
the expansion and remodel of the 3rd floor
(where the former women’s locker room and
Nautilus equipment was located).
For your convenience, we have posted a 3D
rendering (below) depicting what the 3rd
floor will look like after it’s completed on
the OAC homepage, including all of the new
and exciting equipment we are purchasing for
it.
Finally, for your reference, below is a
brief synopsis describing the remaining
details of the OAC Club expansion and
renovation project:

The 3rd floor (where the former women’s
locker room and Nautilus equipment was
located) will be temporarily closed for
remodeling, which will include exposing
the historic brick walls, high-ceilings,
overhead support beams, windows, and
solid wood floors.

The 3rd floor renovation will include,
among other things, a new cardio and
resistance training area with new lines
of cardio and strength equipment
outfitted with personal viewing screens.
-
The new equipment will include 10
treadmills, 10 AMT machines, 20
elliptical machines, 2 Step Mills, 2
Versa Climbers, 5 stationary bikes, 5
recumbent bikes, and a complete (15
piece) set of selectorized resistance
equipment.

The 3rd floor renovation will be
completed and the space reopened by
August 31, 2013.

The 2nd floor (where the former men’s
locker room is located) will be
remodeled to create a new indoor cycling
studio, which will be referenced in the
Activity Schedule as “Studio C.” (This
will allow us to convert the existing
space currently used for studio cycling
into an additional racquetball court.
(The Club will have three racquetball
courts!)

The 2nd floor renovation will include
the expansion of the existing floor
space of Studio “B.”

The new yoga studio (Studio B) will have
a new heating and air conditioning
system and controlled lighting system.

The 2nd floor renovation will be
completed and the space reopened by
August 31, 2013

The existing pool and ground floor pool
locker rooms will remain. (The Club now
has two swimming pools!)
-
Club members will receive a special
discounted room reservation and parking
rate to stay at the Hotel and/or use the
new 4-level underground Hotel parking
garage, which will be available to
members 24 hours a day, for any reason,
including dining, shopping, the Farmer’s
Sunday Market, etc. Note: The five
existing Olympic Athletic Club surface
parking lots will remain available for
Club members, at no charge, under the
existing posted terms and conditions.
